Is this the official Anthropic API?
No. Model.sale is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with Anthropic. The model you request is the model that answers; Model.sale never substitutes one model for another.
Why is it cheaper than list price?
One flat rate per million charged tokens with cached input at 40% suits agent and coding workloads, where most tokens are cache reads. The comparison and its assumptions are public in pricing methodology; small models can be close to list price, which is stated there too.
Which endpoint do I use?
Claude models are served on the Anthropic Messages endpoint, POST https://api.model.sale/v1/messages, with the x-api-key or Authorization: Bearer header. The Anthropic SDK base URL is https://api.model.sale without /v1.
